Got cats? Show your love of these delightful miniature tigers with the Silver Tabby Hat. Seven felines rest peacefully on a shelf that encircles the hat. A colorwork lace design then transitions into the crown of the hat. Perhaps these tabbies are soaking up the sun in a winter windowsill?

SIZE(S):

Hat fits an adult head size of approx 21” – 23” (53.5 cm – 58.4 cm).  Additional sizes available by changing needle sizes or working more/fewer pattern repeats or rounds.

CHARTED/WRITTEN:

Colorwork and crown shaping are charted (ribbing is not). Includes complete written directions so the ability to read a chart is not necessary to work this pattern.

GAUGE:

26 stitches/26 rounds to 4” x 4” (10 cm x 10 cm) in stockinette stitch colorwork, blocked.

The hat is provisionally cast on for a tubular cast-on and then worked in the round. Instructions are provided for using either cable cast-on or long tail cast-on as alternative cast on methods.
